Radiologic Technology

Description

The Radiologic Technology program is a twenty-one month associate degree program that prepares graduates for a career as a Radiologic Technologist. Radiologic Technology is an allied health profession responsible for providing the medical imaging services essential to the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of disease and injury. Our program prepares radiologic technology students for a career as a diagnostic radiographer—one who performs x-ray examinations such as chest x-rays and bone x-rays, as well as complex imaging exams of internal organs and blood vessels. Through intensive classroom and clinical education, our students learn to safely use x-rays to produce medical images with state-of-the-art equipment and procedures. Students learn all aspects of the Art and Science of Radiography through our Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accredited program.
